A crisp and refreshing Chardonnay, lightly oaked with no malolactic fermentation leaving a clean finish. This toasty little number is fun and flirty, just like foreplay should be.

Tasting Notes: Rich aromas of tropical fruit and citrus on the nose. Low hanging ripe citrus fruit feels fleshy and soft in your mouth. A short time on oak gives lovely clean buttery invitations to enjoy an elongated session of Foreplay.

Food Pairings: This bright Chardonnay pairs beautifully with red chili Dungeness crab. Enjoy as a summer treat or year round for a fresh delight.

If you like typical Chardonnay's with butter and oak move along, this wine is different. Naked Winery's Foreplay wine is crisp and full of stone fruits like peach and apricot. It actually reminds me of a typical Pinot Gris. This is probably why I love this wine when I dislike most Chardonnays. The wine pairs well with desserts as the combination of flavors brings out the wine's natural sugars. I'd also suggest pairing it with fresh roasted chicken and seafood like scallops. This review is for the 2015 vintage, but I'm sure future vintages will be just as delightful.
