What Are You Picking Up?

The Naked Winery Wine Club pick-up party was a hit. What was originally going to be a one time thing, then  moved into a seasonal fling and is now a full blown love affair. Members come and enjoy a bevy of delicious cheese, acoustic music and the best part, connection. We have seen before our eyes new friendships forming. My favorite quote from the last party was our owner Dave Barringer stating excitedly, "We have a lot of cool people in our wine club". I couldn't agree more.

Some of my favorite connections I witnessed this weekend were a couple who got engaged earlier that morning and then joined the club that afternoon. They were so excited to have their joint venture begin with wine. Another was two couples who met during the party and came back later with a picnic bag full with tasty treats to share with all. Perhaps the best find was the grandchild of the founder the first Octoberfest in America held in Mt. Angel Oregon. He is now the holder the the original recipe for the German Brats served. He is procuring some of these fine meat products for our "Play Naked" date on March 20th and we are stoked!

The best thing overall was to watch our company mission play out in real life. Bonds were being made over a glass of wine and romance was in the air. Not just the romance of a couple getting engaged, but the romance of making new friends and lasting relationships. Pick up parties are here to stay.

Such Wine Club pick-up parties are always so great for the people who like to come and have a great time enjoying the different flavors. I like that you talked about this party in detail to tell other people so that they will come and join you next time.
