Stellar Escort Pinot Gris leads list of summer releases

We labor mightily here to get you Naked, however you like it -- via Amazon.com, direct from the nicely manicured hands of our tasting room team, or straight from the shelves and wine lists of our retail tease mates.

If you're not able to make it to one of our tasting rooms, you'll want to scan the shelves of your favorite wine retailer for three new Naked wines just now entering the pipeline. Here's a bit about each:

2014 Naked Pinot Gris -- Featuring Willamette Valley grape from the 2014 harvest, this bottling features ripe pear and candy cane aromas, and tart pineapple notes with balanced acidity on the tongue. 13% alcohol.

2013 Naked Pinot Noir -- Based on Willamette Valley fruit from the 2013 harvest, this Burgundian expression gains from 8 months in American and French oak. Caramel and cherry nose lead into a sip that is light of body and balances blueraspberry with light tannins.

2013 Naked Cabernet Sauvignon -- Sourced from Columbia Valley vineyards, this big cab -- with just a touch of  Merlot and Petit Verdot -- spent a year in French and American oak,  Look for black currant, cherry, clove and praline notes on the nose, and flavors of black cherry, barrel toast and light tannins. 14.2% alcohol.

At our tasting rooms, you'll find a lot of familiar faces wearing fresh smiles and come-hither looks. The video above speaks, for instance, to our new 2014 Escort Pinot Gris.

Aged entirely in stainless steel, this blend features 100 percent Columbia Gorge fruit -- from the slopes of Underwood Mountain, just across the Columbia River from Hood River. Apple blossom aromas promise crisp apple and ripe pear flavors on your palate. In short, a perfect summer sipper.
